Summer Rain (Nashville Tuning) - solo fingerstyle guitar

Legendary guitarist Lenny Breau introduced some wonderful open string chord voicings which appeared in an informative lesson for Guitar Player magazine during the 1980s.

The two opening chords from that lesson provided the inspiration for "Summer Rain", composed with the first section of the melody in the lower register using standard guitar tuning (an octave higher using the identical left hand fingering with Nashville tuning).

Thanks and appreciation to Barry Buret who kindly offered his Nashville tuned Tacoma guitar for this recording!

Thank you for watching!
