Taylor GS Mini - Review and Photographs

The GS Mini is a scaled down version of Taylor's Grand Symphony body style and features a solid Sitka top, sapele laminate back and sides, an ebony fretboard and bridge with a tortoise shell pickguard.

Sound Quality and Playability

There is a lot more fullness to the sound than one might expect (based on the guitar's relatively small size). The GS mini has an outstanding dynamic response which is suited to delicate fingerpicking, fast single note improvisation and hard strumming. The sapele neck and ebony fingerboard (with a shorter  23.5" scale length) has a great feel too!

Conclusion

I played more expensive guitars at various music shops but found myself returning to this particular guitar on numerous occasions. I bought this intrument and after two weeks still find it fun to play and hard to put down!
