Tanglewood TW73E Parlour Guitar - Review and Photographs

The Tanglewood TW73E Parlour guitar features a solid Canadian Cedar top, solid African Mahogany back and sides and a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The guitar is fitted with a Fishman Presys Plus EQ System.

The headstock consists of chrome waverly style machine heads and an attractive mother of pearl "T" inlay.

The mother of pearl inlay around the soundhole also contributes greatly towards the attractiveness of the guitar.

The TW73E is a well constructed quality instrument and a great looking acoustic guitar.

Sound Quality and Playability

The guitar produces an impressive volume for its size with a mellow tone and clear trebles. The intrument is a pleasure to play and well suited to delicate fingerpicking with a comfortable feel and a good consistency across the entire fingerboard.

Audio Example (Overjoyed by Stevie Wonder)

I recorded this Stevie Wonder Classic via the onboard Fishman Presys preamp and a Behringer C-2 microphone.

Conclusion

The Tanglewood TW73E is without doubt an attractive quality instrument, enjoyable to play and hard to put down!
